Position Summary:
The Host/Hostess is responsible for creating a warm and welcoming first impression while managing guest flow throughout service. This role includes greeting guests, coordinating seating, managing reservations, communicating with the service team, and ensuring every guest receives attentive and polished hospitality from arrival through departure.
Responsibilities: (This includes but is not limited to)
- Greet and welcome guests in a warm, professional, and engaging manner
- Manage reservations, waitlists, and guest seating efficiently
- Coordinate table assignments to support smooth restaurant operations
- Maintain accurate knowledge of table status and dining room flow
- Communicate effectively with managers, servers, and support staff
- Answer phone calls and assist with guest inquiries and reservations
- Escort guests to their tables and provide menus when appropriate
- Monitor guest experience and assist in resolving concerns when needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and entry area
- Support opening and closing duties as assigned
- Create a positive first and last impression for every guest
Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent;

Ability to stand for extended periods, and lift up to 30 lbs.
