Master Scheduler | Kentwood, MI
Salary Range: $68,000 - $102,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the Master Production Schedule (MPS) for all products.
- Analyze demand forecasts, customer orders, and inventory levels to optimize production plans.
- Assess production capacity, resource availability, and material constraints to ensure feasible schedules.
- Coordinate with sales, production, procurement, and logistics teams to align on scheduling priorities.
- Monitor production progress, identify deviations, and adjust schedules to maintain on-time delivery.
- Identify and resolve scheduling conflicts, bottlenecks, and material shortages.
- Manage inventory targets for raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods to minimize costs.
Recommended Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years experience in master scheduling or production planning within a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Plex) for planning, scheduling, and data analysis.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on optimizing production schedules and inventory levels.
- In-depth understanding of manufacturing processes, capacity planning, and supply chain management principles.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to coordinate with production, sales, and supply chain teams.
Bonus Qualifications
- APICS CPIM or CSCP Certification
- Experience with advanced planning and scheduling (APS) software implementation or optimization
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) for performance tracking and scenario planning
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification or demonstrated experience in continuous improvement methodologies
