Job Title: High School Algebra II Tutor
Pay: $15 per hour
Position Overview:
Ivy Academy is seeking a High School Alg. II Tutor to support students in strengthening their algebra II skills & building academic confidence. The ideal candidate enjoys working & adolescents, can explain concepts clearly, is experienced in teaching algebra II, & aligns with Ivy Academys commitment to academic excellence & student growth.
Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one and small-group tutoring in high schoollevel Algebra II
- Reinforce classroom instruction and help students master core concepts
- Support students with homework, test preparation, and skill development
- Maintain a positive, patient, and professional learning environment
- Communicate student progress with supervisors as requested
- Adhere to Ivy Academys policies and expectations
Qualifications:
- Must be proficient in Algebra II
- Ability to explain Alg. II concepts in a clear & supportive way
- Reliable, punctual, & organized
- Experience working with high school students preferred (tutoring, teaching, or academic support)
- Must pass required background checks
Schedule:
- HCDE School calendar; work day is 7:30-3:00
