Job Description

The Heavy Equipment Field Support Supervisor is responsible for overseeing day-to-day support operations for field service technicians. This role ensures technicians are equipped, informed, and coordinated to deliver high-quality service to customers at the jobsite. The supervisor serves as the main point of contact between the customer, technicians and internal departments, helping to optimize workflows, resolve issues and maintain service excellence across all active field operations.


This role deals with heavy construction equipment. This is not an Information Technology position.


Compensation package includes: Base salary + Monthly Commission + Profit-Sharing + 401K with 6% match.


Essential Functions/Responsibilities

· Supervise field technicians by assigning jobs, monitoring performance and offering support as needed

· Schedule and dispatch technicians based on service needs, efficiency, and availability

· Address escalated customer issues and ensure high-quality service delivery

· Provide training, mentorship, and development opportunities for technicians

· Hires, leads and supports field service technicians.

· Communicates changes in service/warranty policies and procedures to ensure all employees have the appropriate information they need to successfully perform their roles and responsibilities.

· Performs all other duties as assigned by management in a professional manner


Skills and Experience

· High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred

· 3+ years’ experience in field service, service management, operations support, or dispatch coordination

· Previous heavy equipment experience preferred

· 1+ year in supervisory or team lead role strongly preferred

· Experience in multi-site or regional field operations is a strong plus

· Must have excellent organizational and time management skills

· Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers

· Solid PC skills including knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and Foxit (PDF)
