Job DescriptionUltrasound Technologist
We are seeking a motivated Ultrasound Technologist to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a tech looking to build hands-on experience in a dynamic clinical environment serving adults.
In this role, you will perform high-quality ultrasound examinations for physician interpretation, utilizing your knowledge of anatomical positioning and physiology. You will support a variety of diagnostic procedures while ensuring patient comfort, safety, and accuracy of imaging.
Key Responsibilities
Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures across multiple specialties including abdomen (with elastography), small parts, pelvic/OB-GYN, scrotal, and pelvic Doppler studies. Maintain high standards of image quality and patient care while working collaboratively with physicians and clinical staff.
Qualifications
Graduation from an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program required.
0 to 2 years of experience, with one year of ultrasound scanning experience preferred.
Proficiency in abdominal, OB/GYN, and vascular imaging techniques preferred.
Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Basic computer literacy and willingness to learn new systems and technologies.
Required Certifications
Must hold one of the following:
ARRT (S) certification through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
ARDMS certification through the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers
Additionally required:
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, either:
American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers (or equivalent), or
American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider
