Position Summary
Shining Stars Montessori Academy PCS seeks a dynamic Bilingual Immersion Instructional Coach to support the AVANZA dual-language program (PK3Grade 3). This role ensures high-quality bilingual instruction aligned to Montessori principles, biliteracy development, and equitable outcomes for multilingual learners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coach teachers in bilingual/dual-language instructional practices and Montessori integration
  • Support Spanish Language Arts and content instruction (including math in Spanish)
  • Monitor student progress in both languages; support data analysis and targeted interventions
  • Ensure alignment to Montessori standards and Common Core in both languages
  • Collaborate with ELL and Special Education teams to support diverse learners
  • Lead bilingual professional development and curriculum implementation
  • Support family communication and engagement in both English and Spanish

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors required; Masters preferred
  • Fluency in Spanish and English required
  • Experience in dual-language/immersion programs required
  • Montessori certification experience highly preferred
  • 5+ years teaching experience; coaching experience preferred
