I.BASIC FUNCTION:

Responsible for all aspects related to the marketing and public relations of and with FCHC. These responsibilitiesinclude positively promoting the image of FCHC to the community, creating and managing press releases,establishing TV and radio appearances, creating and managing informational brochures/flyers, remaining abreast oflegislative policies and healthcare news affecting FCHC business, and establishing and maintaining communityrelationships that support and promote FCHC business.

All employees of FCHC must ensure service standards are delivered, including:

JOB DESCRIPTION

JOB TITLE: MARKETING & PUBLIC RELATIONS MANAGER

MARKETING & PUBLIC RELATIONS MANAGER

III.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1.Collaborates with C-suite and all department managers in creating and managing marketing materials for FCHC.

2.Works collaboratively with internal teams to support FCHC’s community outreach (ie. WIC, Community HealthWorker programs, etc.)

3.Creates and manage concept, content, and design for relevant marketing literature and campaigns.

4.Supports marketing initiatives related to branding, recruitment, service delivery, growth, etc.

5.Works with FCHC staff and Board Members to create a marketing plan for all expansion projects.

6.Ensures FCHC’s visibility in the St. Louis area and that FCHC is marketed at neighborhood events.

7.Directs and manages FCHC website and social media accounts, (ie. LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, etc.).

8.Ensures proper branding, banners and signage is visible at FCHC sites.

9.Develops creative concepts for review and approval. Review and edit internal and external marketing materialincluding ads, brochures, direct mail, newsletters, website and other marketing materials.

10.Advises on appropriate communications and marketing materials to drive growth for the business as well asimprove customer experience.

11.Contributes to internal and external meetings from a marketing & public relations perspective.

12.Participates in community events, (ie. health fairs) that promote FCHCs mission and services.

13.Creates, organizes, and executes events designed to attract new and ongoing business to the health center.

14.Develops reports and metrics to track marketing effectiveness and impact.

15.Actively follows trends relative to social engagement in the industry and communicate them to senior and executive leadership.

16.Stays up-to-date on best practices for social and digital marketing, as well as the implementation of appropriate analytics tools, (marketing automation and CRM).

17.Understands audience engagement metrics across platforms (Facebook Insights, Twitter Analytics, etc.) and an ability to translate them into actionable data.

18.Increases FCHC’s engagement with community partners representative of FCHC’s patient population.

19.Conducts community focus groups as needed to understand the needs of FCHC’s patient populations to ensure continued alignment of goals, priorities, and activities.

20.Understands political and community landscape and develop marketing strategies that support FCHC’s success in these environments.21.Remains abreast of legislative policies and healthcare news affecting FCHC business, (ie. quality programs, Medicare/Medicaid enrollments, etc.).22.Builds relationships with political and community leaders in the communities FCHC serves.23.Represents the organization as requested by CEO.24.Participates in and completes all FCHC required trainings.25.Attends NACHC, MPCA and other health industry related conferences as assigned. 26. Uses Adobe Creative Cloud programs (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) and Canva to create marketing materials. 27.Manages FCHC's Google Business account including the Google Ad Grant program.

IV.PERIODIC DUTIES:

1.Participate in Health Center staff problem solving groups.

2.Attend and participate in department meetings, etc.

3.Perform other duties as assigned.

V.WORKING RELATIONSHIPS:

Inside Health Center: All inclusive.

Outside Health Center: Patients/Clients, students, vendors, community health agencies, grant agencies, hospitals, insurance companies, physician offices, City, State and Federal agencies, etc.

VI.QUALIFICATIONS:

1.Bachelor’s Degree with 2+ years experience in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications or related field. Experience in healthcare settings a plus.

2.Strong oral and written communication skills with ability to tailor oral and written communications to varying audiences, print mediums and digital platforms.

3.Strong computer skills, with existing knowledge and proficiency in MS Office, website development/management and search engine optimization practices, and design software (ie. WordPress, Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Google Workspace) required.

4.Strong collaboration skills across all levels of the organization.

5.Self-starter with the ability to work independently on projects.

6.Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills.

7.Detail-oriented, excellent organization skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
