Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a dedicated Radiation Therapist for a 13-week travel contract in Urbana, Illinois. This full-time opportunity offers a consistent weekday schedule and the chance to work in a collaborative, patient-centered enviment.

Job Details:

• Location: Urbana, IL

• Contract Length: 13 weeks

• Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM

• Weekly Hours: 40

Responsibilities:

• Deliver accurate radiation treatments as prescribed by physicians

• Operate and maintain linear accelerators and other radiation therapy equipment

• Monitor patients during treatments and report any unusual reactions

• Maintain detailed treatment records in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines

• Collaborate with the radiation oncology team, including physicians, dosimetrists, and nurses

• Ensure a safe enviment for patients and staff by adhering to radiation safety protocols

Requirements:

• BLS Certification (AHA)

• Licensed Radiologic Technologist Radiation Therapy (IEMA license)

• ARRT Certification in Radiation Therapy (T)

• Stg attention to detail and patient care skills

• Previous experience in a radiation oncology setting preferred
