Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1+ years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A compounding pharmacy in northwestern Montana is seeking a detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to support sterile and non-sterile compounding operations. This contract position offers the opportunity to work in a professional, compliance-driven environment delivering high-quality, customized medications.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare sterile and non-sterile compounded medications according to prescriptions and SOPs
- Maintain accurate documentation in line with USP and regulatory requirements
- Ensure aseptic technique and cleanliness within sterile compounding areas
- Measure, weigh, mix, package, and label compounded medications accurately
- Assist with inventory management, ordering, and restocking supplies
- Support pharmacists with daily workflow and operational tasks
- Uphold safety, quality, and compliance standards consistently
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Active Pharmacy Technician license or ability to obtain prior to start
- National certification (CPhT) preferred
- Prior experience in sterile and/or non-sterile compounding strongly preferred
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to procedures
- Good organizational and communication skills
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work well within a team

Compensation: $2025/hour for local candidates
