Degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1+ years Radiology Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A certified Radiological Technologist position is available to perform diagnostic imaging using ionizing radiation under the direction of an authorized user. This role focuses on providing safe, patient-centered radiology services primarily in inpatient acute care settings, with responsibilities including patient positioning, performing radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures, radiation protection, documentation, and assisting licensed practitioners during imaging and surgical procedures.

Schedule:
- Rotating 72-hour shifts every two weeks
- Every other weekend off with no on-call requirement
- Specific shift hours vary, including overnight and evening coverage
Qualifications & Experience:
- Certification and registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required
- Associates degree from an ARRT-accredited program preferred
- At least 1 year of hospital inpatient acute care radiology experience required
- Experience with ER, inpatient, and outpatient procedures preferred
- Competency with GE mobile and room units, C-arm experience required
- Previous exposure to OR/Surgery preferred
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from the American Heart Association required before direct patient care
- Familiarity with Radiology Information Systems and PACS preferred
Responsibilities:
- Obtain patient clinical histories and ensure documentation for practitioner use
- Position and immobilize patients with consideration for comfort and anatomy visualization
- Minimize radiation exposure to patients, self, and others according to ALARA principles
- Operate radiographic equipment and assist during fluoroscopic and specialized procedures using aseptic technique
- Verify informed consent and complete all procedure documentation
- Collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals and patient families
- Document patient dose exposures and evaluate image quality
