We are seeking an experienced journey-level Concrete Carpenters to join our team. This role is for someone who understands concrete form placement through final finish and take pride in clean, durable work. As a Concrete Carpenter with PRST, you’ll support Commercial contractors in the Portland, Oregon and surrounding areas. In this Concrete Carpenter role, you’ll earn $28-$35 an hour, enjoy weekly pay, health insurance benefits, and a flexible work schedule.

Job Duties:

• Place, level, and finish concrete for flatwork and structural pours
• Screed, bull float, hand towel , power trowel, edge, and broom finishes
• Set forms, check grade, and slope, and ensure proper drainage
• Apply surface finishes, textures, and sealers as required
• Read plans and work from grades, elevations, and layout lines
• Ability to work effectively with crew members, foremen, and pump operators

Responsibilities

• 18 years of age minimum
• 4+ years of hands-on current experience in the trade
• Strong knowledge of concrete mixes, set times, and finishing techniques
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Proficient with hand tools and power finishing equipment
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs and work in varying weather conditions
• Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and walk for extended periods of time throughout the day with or without reasonable accommodation
• Must have reliable transportation to and from the jobsite

The hourly rate for this position is $28.00 - $35.00/hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law.
