Front Desk Medical Receptionist Vascular Clinic
Reports to: Front Desk Manager
Status: Non-Exempt, Full-Time
Pay Range: $23 $28 per hour DOE


Vascular Surgery Group is seeking an experienced Full-Time Front Desk Medical Receptionist to support our vascular surgery outpatient practice. This role is responsible for patient check-in and check-out, appointment scheduling, insurance verification, and supporting the daily flow of clinic operations.


Minimum Qualifications

  • 2+ years of medical front desk experience in a clinic setting (required)
  • Experience with medical insurance verification and procedure authorizations (required)
  • Medical appointment scheduling experience (required)
  • EMR/EHR experience preferred (Athena strongly preferred)
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
  • Valid Drivers License (required)

Schedule

  • Monday Friday, 8:30 AM 5:00 PM
  • Rare overtime as needed
  • Must be willing and able to travel to satellite clinic locations in Hayward and San Ramon (approx. 25%)

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to sit and/or stand for extended periods throughout the workday
  • Ability to walk, bend, reach, and occasionally lift up to 20 lbs (files, supplies, office materials)
  • Frequent use of a computer, keyboard, telephone, and standard office equipment
  • Ability to assist patients at the front desk and move between patient areas, front desk, and administrative areas as needed
