Job Title: Drug Manufacturing Technician
Location: Des Plaines, IL (onsite)
Contract Duration: Contract until 10/02/2026
Work Hours: 8:00AM - 4:30PM

Description:

This position is Non Exempt. Hours over 40 will be paid at time and a half. Responsible for proper maintenance and operation of drug manufacturing equipment. Accurately weighing raw materials and active ingredients and combining them into a blend. Keeps the equipment and facility clean and in a state of good repair. Participates in the completion of work orders, including batch record documentation per cGMP (current good manufacturing process). Accurately follows and completes documentation with minimal errors or corrections. Completes training, including cGMP and safety training in a timely manner. Must be able to work alone or in a team and can follow procedures exactly. Entry level HSD or GED equivalent required.

Familiarity with working in a lab setting, using micropipettes, serological pipettes, GDP in paper documents, high attention to detail. working on multiple manufacturing orders concurrently, restriction digest gel electrophoresis experience, UV/Vis Spectrophometer use, and experience with aseptic technique for inoculating flasks.
