Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into a meaningful opportunity serving a diverse Pre K-6th grade caseload in a supportive district in the northern Denver suburbs. You’ll be based at a welcoming elementary site, helping students with a range of communication needs from mild to severe. This full-time, contract position spans 37.5 hours a week, working with approximately 40-50 students—including about 10 in Pre K—providing evaluations, direct services, and documentation. As the case manager for students whose IEPs designate only speech, you’ll play a key role ensuring individualized care and progress.

The district values both seasoned professionals and recent graduates; Clinical Fellows benefit from on-site supervision and mentorship. Your team emphasizes kindness, collaboration, and open communication, fostering an environment where you’re encouraged to share ideas and grow professionally.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
  • Active or in-process Colorado Department of Education (CDE) SLP credentials. Please indicate your status when applying.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is essential.
  • Ability to work with mild, moderate, and severe speech-language needs.
  • Open to contract SLPs; relocation status should be provided at submission.
  • SLP-CCC or SLP-CF candidates welcome; supervision provided for CFs.
  • District does not employ SLPAs or hybrid/remote providers.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct evaluations and develop effective treatment plans.
  • Deliver direct therapy services to students Pre K-6.
  • Maintain thorough service notes and documentation.
  • Act as case manager for speech-only IEP students.
  • Collaborate with families and colleagues in a multi-disciplinary environment.

Ready to make an impact as part of a close-knit school community? Advance your career where your passion for communication makes a daily difference. Submit your application today and take the first step toward joining a district dedicated to its students and staff.

Compensation for this position ranges from $37.73 to $57.73. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals. Full details of our healthcare benefits plan can be found here. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
