Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years MS RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A nursing opportunity is available at a 29-bed Med Surg unit located in Derry, NH. This contract role offers a chance to deliver quality acute care within a well-equipped setting featuring PCA pumps, IV pumps, and telemetry monitoring. The unit maintains a 6:1 patient ratio and includes LNA support; however, no unit secretary is available. Nurses will document patient care using the Meditech Expanse system.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Current RN licensure with at least one year of acute care experience
- Strong skills in dysrhythmia recognition and management
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Experience with telemetry and PCA pump use preferred
- Ability to float to other units as needed
Responsibilities:
- Provide bedside nursing care including participation in care conferences and safety rounding
- Administer medications and treatments using PCA and IV pumps
- Collaborate within the multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes
- Maintain compliance with unit guidelines and documentation standards
Schedule:
- Every other weekend required
- Adherence to the units professional dress code (clean, professional; scrub color not specified)
- Floating may be required based on unit staffing needs
