Industrial Electrician | Walker, MI

Salary Range: $61,000 - $93,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

Conduct preventive maintenance and routine inspections of industrial electrical systems and equipment.
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical malfunctions in manufacturing machinery and control systems.
Install, modify, and upgrade electrical wiring, conduits, and components in production facilities.
Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical specifications.
Ensure strict adherence to electrical safety codes, regulations, and company safety protocols.
Perform calibration and testing of electrical instrumentation and controls.
Document all maintenance activities, repairs, and installations accurately.

Recommended Qualifications

Journeyman Electrician license or relevant trade certification.
Proven experience troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining industrial electrical systems and machinery.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams.
Strong understanding of PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, and other industrial control systems.
In-depth knowledge of electrical codes (e.g., NEC, NFPA 70E) and safety protocols.
Experience with various voltage systems (e.g., 480V, 277V, 120V) and three-phase power.

Bonus Qualifications

Proficiency in PLC programming and ladder logic development (e.g., Allen-Bradley Logix platforms).
Experience with industrial robotics troubleshooting and maintenance.
Background in instrumentation and control systems, including calibration and loop tuning.
Demonstrated experience with VFD commissioning, programming, and optimization.
