Proper Painting is searching for experienced painters who are ready to step into leadership roles and help us grow. What We’re Looking For:
- Minimum 18 months of professional interior and exterior painting experience
- Strong alignment with our core values: Integrity, Attitude, Hard Work, and Teamwork
- Ability to communicate effectively with both team members and clients
Experience with:
- Interior & exterior residential/commercial painting
- Pressure washing, caulking, scraping, sanding, and priming
- Drywall and plaster repair (preferred)
- Lift operation (preferred)
- Carpentry (a plus)
About the Work:
- Residential projects: interiors (two-story foyers, vaulted ceilings, etc.), and exteriors
- Commercial projects: car dealerships, warehouses, and mixed-use buildings
- Prep work: cleaning, masking, scraping, sanding, drywall repair, caulking, priming
- Application: brushing, rolling, and spraying (Festool equipment experience a plus)
What It Takes to Succeed:
- Ability to work independently with little supervision
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
- Comfortable on ladders and scaffolding
- Valid driver’s license (non-restricted)
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in varying weather
- Strong customer service skills and a positive, team-first mindset
- Must be able to pass a background check
