Desired Qualifications:

  • Active GaPSC Special Education Certification covering SPED content through 8th grade
  • Adapted Curriculum Endorsement required (candidates with pending credentials considered)
  • Experience or strong interest in working with self-contained classrooms
  • Ability to collaborate with paraprofessionals and support staff

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging, individualized instruction in a lower functioning, self-contained, functional curriculum classroom
  • Create and implement effective lesson plans tailored to students’ unique needs
  • Collaborate closely with two paraprofessionals and a Registered Behavior Technician
  • Participate in pre- and post-planning as needed
  • Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to IEP development
