An exciting opportunity is available for a licensed Occupational Therapist to join a school-based team in Fremont, CA. This contract position supports middle school students (grades 6-8) and offers a structured schedule with consistent hours. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy evaluations and interventions tailored to middle school students.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Document progress and maintain compliance with state and district regulations.
- Support student development in fine motor skills, sensory processing, and functional independence.
Qualifications:
- Valid California Occupational Therapist License is required.
- Experience working with school-aged children, particularly in middle school settings, preferred.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage caseload and maintain thorough documentation.
