A school-based Speech-Language Pathologist opportunity is available in New Castle, DE serving K-12 students, specifically supporting grades 8 through 12. This contract position runs for the full school year and offers approximately 25 hours per week.
Responsibilities include providing direct speech-language therapy services to students, collaborating with educational staff, conducting assessments, and developing individualized treatment plans. The role involves working with a diverse caseload across adolescent populations to support communication development and academic success.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist experience
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Minimum of 1 year of school-based SLP experience
- Valid Delaware state licensure for speech-language pathology
- Strong ability to engage and support students from 8th grade through 12th grade
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and mentorship
