Warehouse Manager | Norton Shores, MI
Salary Range: $75,000 - $114,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods.
- Develop and implement inventory control procedures to ensure accuracy, minimize stockouts, and reduce excess inventory.
- Manage and motivate warehouse staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluation.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards within the warehouse environment.
- Optimize warehouse layout and workflow to improve efficiency, reduce handling time, and maximize space utilization.
- Maintain warehouse equipment and facilities, arranging for repairs and preventative maintenance as needed.
- Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to warehouse operations, such as inventory turnover, order fulfillment rates, and labor productivity.
- Collaborate with production, procurement, and logistics departments to ensure seamless flow of materials and timely delivery of products.
Recommended Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in warehouse operations management, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of inventory management, WMS (Warehouse Management Systems), and ERP systems.
- Demonstrated leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities.
- Knowledge of safety regulations, OSHA standards, and best practices for warehouse operations.
Bonus Qualifications
- - Experience with Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
- - Certification in supply chain management (e.g., APICS CSCP, CLTD).
- - Familiarity with automation technologies in warehouse operations (e.g., AGVs, robotic picking).
- - Proven ability to negotiate with vendors and manage third-party logistics providers.
- - Experience with international shipping and customs regulations.
