Location: Normandy Park, WA near Seattle, WA
Work Setting: Private Physical Therapy Office
Position: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM
Patient Volume: 1 patient per hour
Salary: $70,000-$80,000 per year plus full benefits
Position Summary
A private outpatient physical therapy office is seeking a full-time Physical Therapist Assistant for its Normandy Park location near Seattle. This role is centered on helping patients move through their care plans with consistency, structure, and hands-on support. You will work alongside the Physical Therapist to carry out treatment sessions, help patients build function and confidence, and make sure each visit stays productive and well-organized.
Responsibilities
- Implement treatment techniques assigned by the supervising Physical Therapist
- Help patients complete exercise programs and therapeutic activities safely
- Watch for changes in patient condition and communicate findings promptly
- Support treatment goals through clear instruction and patient engagement
- Document each session thoroughly and on schedule
- Maintain treatment tools, equipment, and general clinic readiness
- Work closely with the therapy team to keep daily operations running smoothly
Requirements
- Associate’s Degree in Physical Therapy Assistant
- Active Washington PTA license, or eligibility to obtain licensure in Washington
- Strong communication and patient care skills
- Ability to follow a Physical Therapist’s plan of care accurately
- Organized, professional, and comfortable working in a private outpatient setting
