A school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in Elk Grove, CA, for the upcoming academic year. This contract role supports elementary-aged students and offers a dynamic caseload to utilize and develop specialized skills in pediatric speech-language pathology.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and delivering evidence-based speech and language therapy services to elementary students.
  • Collaborating with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support students' communication and academic success.
  • Maintaining accurate records and progress reports in compliance with school and state guidelines.
  • Participating in professional development opportunities and team meetings to enhance service delivery.

Qualifications and experience desired:

  • Valid Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) certification/license.
  • Certifications such as Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred.
  • Experience in school-based settings, pediatrics, healthcare, or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) strongly desired.
  • Strong knowledge of pediatric speech and language disorders and intervention strategies.
  • Ability to manage a caseload effectively while adapting to diverse student needs.

Job Details:

  • Location: Elk Grove, CA (Elementary School)
  • Duration: Contract for the current school year (CSY), start ASAP, ending at the end of the school year (EOSY).
  • Caseload size and specific work hours to be determined.
