Bachelor's degree, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1+ years Radiation Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Join a dynamic healthcare environment specializing in advanced radiation therapy procedures. This contract role is based in Waverly, OH, and requires candidates to reside outside a 60-mile radius. The position involves performing sophisticated treatments including SBRT, SRS, and complex CT simulations, while ensuring precise imaging analysis and setup accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver advanced radiation therapy techniques such as SBRT and SRS with proficiency in CT simulation
  • Support student and new staff training initiatives to enhance departmental skillsets
  • Participate in daily equipment quality assurance and coordinate maintenance services
  • Contribute to the development of departmental competencies, techniques, and policies
  • Lead safety and quality improvement projects and maintain knowledge of emerging technologies
  • Engage in incident learning and peer review activities to uphold clinical excellence
  • Manage charge reconciliation processes as needed

Qualifications:

  • Certification and licensure as a Radiation Therapist I with a current ARRT (R,T) registration and applicable state license
  • Minimum 3-5 years of clinical radiation therapy experience
  • Proven expertise in CT simulation and delivery of SRS/SBRT, preferably with Brainlab systems
  • Completion of Radiation Therapist II Competency Advancement Checklist
  • At least 1-2 years of travel experience in radiation therapy roles
  • Familiarity with EMR systems, specifically EPIC/ARIA

Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
  • No on-call responsibilities
  • Guaranteed 36-40 hours per week
