Job DescriptionOur client is seeking a Human Resources (HR) Assistant to join our client's team in Fremont, California. This is a direct permanent position offering an excellent opportunity to support key HR functions and enhance your skills. The role involves handling administrative tasks, employee onboarding, and assisting with HR systems to ensure smooth operations. Manufacturing experience would be a plus but not essential. Bilingual Spanish or working knowledge of Spanish would be plus for the role.
Responsibilities:
• Coordinate and manage employee onboarding processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Assist in maintaining and updating Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) to reflect current employee data.
• Conduct background checks and verify employment documents as part of the hiring process.
• Provide administrative support for various HR functions, including record-keeping and policy updates.
• Collaborate with team members to address employee relations inquiries and resolve concerns.
• Help organize and facilitate employee training and development programs.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and employment regulations in all HR practices.
• Prepare reports and summaries related to HR activities for management review.
• Support the implementation of new HR initiatives to improve operational efficiency.Requirements Of the Position • At least 1 year of experience in human resources or a related field. • Proficiency in HR administration and familiarity with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS). • Strong understanding of onboarding processes and procedures for ensuring compliance. • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy. • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism. • Effective communication skills for interaction with employees and management. • Knowledge of employee relations and relevant employment laws. • Proficiency in using office software and tools for reporting and documentation.
