A mail order pharmacy is seeking a multi-state licensed Pharmacist to serve as an Interim Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) in Lawrenceville, GA. This position offers the opportunity to utilize your licenses from multiple states while working part-time on a flexible schedule that fits your availability.
This 13-week contract role involves supporting pharmacy operations by verifying prescriptions and ensuring compliance with pharmacy laws and standards. The PIC designation will be assigned for the non-Georgia licenses held, as a Georgia PIC is already in place. You will be instrumental in maintaining the pharmacys regulatory integrity across various states through your multi-state licensure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Verify prescription accuracy and appropriateness
- Serve as Interim PIC for licenses outside of Georgia
- Meet designated state-specific monthly or weekly hour requirements
- Collaborate with pharmacy staff to maintain regulatory compliance
Schedule & Hours:
- Illinois license: 32 hours/month
- Mississippi license: 20 hours/week
- Louisiana license: 20 hours/week
- Michigan license: 5 hours/week

Qualifications:
- Current Pharmacist license in Georgia
- Additional active licenses in one or more of the following states: Louisiana, Michigan, Mississippi, Illinois
- Proven ability to manage prescription verification and pharmacy compliance duties
