Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for individuals and corporations.
- Conduct tax research and provide accurate, actionable recommendations.
- Assist in developing and implementing tax planning strategies for clients.
- Support audit processes with documentation and timely responses.
- Ensure compliance with IRS regulations and state tax laws.
- Provide guidance on international tax matters and transactions.
- Manage tax provision calculations and reporting for clients.
- Build strong client relationships through exceptional service and communication.
- Stay current on tax law changes to optimize strategies and maintain compliance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- CPA license required; EA certification is a plus.
- 3-5 years of experience in tax preparation and planning, preferably in public accounting.
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and international tax regulations.
- Proficiency in tax software and accounting systems.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to clearly communicate complex tax concepts to clients and team members.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
