Job Title: Occupational Therapist| Direct Hire
Location: Conroe/Willis/The Woodlands
Salary: Competitive, based on experience, starting at $50/hour
Dean's Professional Services is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team. As an Occupational Therapist, you will provide comprehensive care, utilizing your expertise in therapy to improve patients' quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients with physician referrals.
Develop and implement customized treatment plans based on assessment findings.
Provide advanced therapy treatments and monitor patient progress.
Communicate effectively with physicians, patients, and insurance providers.
Mentor and supervise support staff, fostering a collaborative team environment.
Participate in departmental initiatives, program development, and community outreach.
Contribute to the clinic's strategic planning and continuous improvement efforts.
Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years experience
Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
Licensure/Certification: Current Texas Occupational Therapy License and Basic Life Support certification.
Experience: Previous experience in occupational therapy is preferred, with an emphasis on hand therapy being a plus.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 75-100 pounds and carry up to 30 pounds.
Frequent standing, walking, squatting, and stooping.
Fine motor skills and excellent eye-hand coordination are essential.
Additional Qualifications:
Specialized education or certification in occupational therapy is a plus.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment.
