Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Provide specialized instruction and support to high school students with individualized education plans (IEPs) in a full-time, on-site role located in Denver, CO. This contract position runs from ASAP through May 29, 2026, offering 37.5 hours per week dedicated to fostering student success within a collaborative school environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering tailored instruction that addresses the unique needs of students with special education eligibility
- Collaborating effectively with general education teachers, support staff, and families to ensure comprehensive student support
- Developing, implementing, and monitoring IEP goals and accommodations aligned with each student's learning requirements
- Actively participating in IEP meetings and maintaining accurate data collection for student progress
Qualifications or desired experience:
- Active Colorado Special Education teaching license is mandatory
- Experience working with high school students preferred to better address adolescent learning and developmental needs
- Strong communication and teamwork skills for successful collaboration with educators and families
