Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Emergency Department position in Massachusetts, requiring 2+ years of ED experience, AHA-issued ACLS and BLS, and an active MA RN license.
Details
- Position is in a hospital Emergency Department
- 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Every other weekend required
- 10-week contract
Requirements
- Active MA RN license required and must be in hand at time of consideration
- Current AHA-issued BLS and ACLS required at time of consideration
- PALS or ENPC preferred; TNCC preferred
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department RN experience required
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
Additional Information
- Must pass a pass/fail Dysrhythmia/ECG test (20 questions) and a Medication test (20 questions), each requiring an 85% passing score with no opportunity for remediation or re-sit
- Testing is administered via Zoom and must be completed within 1 week of confirmation; candidates will be scheduled for testing within 48 hours of confirmation — a study guide with tips and answers will be provided to help candidates prepare
- COVID vaccine with booster and flu vaccine required; medical exemptions are accepted
- One orientation date available per month — candidates must be available for the posted start date
- Candidates must provide interview availability and all RTO requests at time of consideration
- Travelers who have worked for Beth Israel Lahey Health in any capacity (travel, permanent, or per diem) must have a 6-month break before returning
- Candidates who were previously permanent employees at this specific facility will not be considered unless separated for at least one year
