This opportunity is for an experienced Registered Nurse with critical care expertise to provide exceptional care in a dynamic Intensive Care Unit (ICU) setting. The role is based in Lone Tree, CO, serving a mixed medical ICU with trauma, neurosurgical, and medical adult and geriatric patients. The ICU unit has 16 beds and operates with a 2:1 nurse-to-patient ratio. Remote and on-unit telemetry monitoring is utilized, and electronic medical records are managed through EPIC.

Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in a mixed medical ICU environment
- Manage complex patient needs including trauma, neurosurgical, cardiac, and stroke cases
- Utilize EPIC EMR for accurate documentation and patient care coordination
- Adhere to a 2:1 nurse-to-patient ratio, with occasional floating to cardiac and stroke units with a 3:1 ratio
- Float between regional facilities, including Avista, Castle Rock, Littleton, Parker, and Porter as needed, with prior notice
- Comply with internal call-off policies, including weekend and holiday shift coverage requirements
Qualifications:
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license with at least 2 years of ICU experience
- Completion of TCAR certification prior to start
- Ability to wear navy blue scrub colors
- Willingness to float to other regional medical facilities when requested
Schedule:
- 36 hours per week
- Weekend requirement: 6 shifts every 6 weeks
- No on-call requirement
