The Advocacy Specialist will be responsible for trade marketing initiatives, brand advocacy, and activation strategies within the West Coast region. This role requires strong relationship-building skills to connect with bars, restaurants, and key trade partners, ensuring Sake ONO’s brand presence and growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a brand advocate on the ground, engaging directly with trade partners.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with bars, restaurants, and trade professionals.
- Represent Sake ONO at industry events, tastings, and activations.
- Identify and execute trade-focused opportunities to drive brand visibility.
- Partner with bars and restaurants to secure menu placements.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to align on marketing and advocacy strategies.
- Travel within the West Coast region as needed to support trade marketing efforts.
- Participation and organization of Trade and Consumer-focused events on a case-by-case basis.
- Serve as a liaison between trade partners, the Trade Marketing team, and the Sales Team, ensuring seamless communication.
- Work closely with key accounts to develop activation strategies.
- Identify and partner with events that align with Sake ONO’s brand positioning.
- Will assist with consumer- and trade-based events in San Francisco and the surrounding areas as needed.
Compensation & Benefits:

- Strong background in trade marketing, brand advocacy, or the hospitality industry.
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Experience working with bars, restaurants, and trade professionals.
- Ability to travel within the West Coast region.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently.
- Passion for Sake and the beverage industry.
