Job Description

Our organization, a multidisciplinary neuroscience practice established in 1969, became part of a larger healthcare system in 2024. We are currently in search of a General Neurologist to join our teams in Chelmsford and Westford, MA. We encourage candidates with subspecialty interests, particularly in cognitive and memory care, to apply. This position offers the chance to collaborate with a dedicated team of 28 physicians and advanced practice clinicians across our network. You will foster meaningful connections with colleagues, community partners, hospitalists, and various specialties, as our vision extends beyond our immediate facilities.

Reasons to join our team:

Our organization operates five locations throughout the Merrimack Valley in Massachusetts and New Hampshire, employing neurologists, neurosurgeons, pain management specialists, psychiatrists, rheumatologists, and a variety of support staff. As a General Neurologist, you will cater to a culturally diverse population in the suburbs of Lowell, MA. You will work within a multidisciplinary team, ensuring continuity of care for patients all under one roof, with the added benefit of flexible scheduling that allows for documentation time during your work hours.

  • The selected Neurologist will typically work full-time, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Call responsibilities are shared among the broader team and are generally on a 1:5 rotation.

  • Our practice emphasizes collaboration, collegiality, and flexibility, enabling us to customize call schedules in partnership with our current Neurologists.

  • Each specialty is supported by a dedicated team of secretaries who assist with scheduling, rooming, and triage, along with available medical assistants.

  • Currently, our organization includes 14 neurology providers (physicians and advanced practice clinicians) serving patients throughout the Merrimack Valley. Our group encompasses various neurology subspecialties, including stroke, epilepsy, neuromuscular disorders, movement disorders, migraine (BOTOX), and neuro-immunology.

With us, you can truly achieve a satisfying work/life balance.

Qualifications:

  • A genuine passion for neuroscience and a collaborative spirit are essential, as you will work closely with a diverse range of stakeholders to ensure exceptional patient satisfaction.

  • Must hold a valid medical license in New Hampshire and Massachusetts, or be able to obtain these licenses.

  • We welcome applications from both General Neurologists and those with subspecialty expertise.

Work, Live, and Grow: We are committed to fostering an inclusive workplace for all employees. We offer a competitive salary along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes health, dental, and vision insurance, among other perks.

Location: 25 Fletcher St., Chelmsford, MA 01824 and 234 Littleton Road, Westford, MA 01886

About our healthcare system:

We are a prominent integrated health system that combines the strengths of academic and community healthcare to provide outstanding, connected, and accessible care experiences for individuals across Massachusetts. Our network includes a major medical center, several community hospitals, an extensive home care network, and a large integrated physician group. With over 15,000 dedicated team members, we deliver more than 1.5 million patient experiences annually. Our system serves as the primary teaching affiliate for a well-respected medical school and was formed in 2014 to enhance the collective expertise of its member organizations and transform patient engagement and care experiences.

About our organization:

Our healthcare professionals recognize the significance of being part of a vibrant and diverse community. We are dedicated to providing the highest quality healthcare to the Merrimack Valley, treating approximately 74,000 patients each year, many of whom are local residents, friends, and family members. After five decades of service, we have become one of the largest multispecialty neuroscience practices in the region. Our goal is to be the preferred choice for patients, physicians, and employees alike. We prioritize patient comfort, convenience, and the enhancement of their quality of life in a friendly and efficient manner, guided by our mission, values, and strong customer service philosophy.

Our subspecialties include epileptology, stroke, movement disorders, neuroimmunology, neuromuscular disorders, and migraine management. We are also in the process of establishing a memory center focused on Alzheimer's disease and new infusion therapies.
