Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced and dedicated Occupational Therapists (OTs) for a full-time opportunity with school districts in the San Antonio, TX area. We are seeking professionals who are passionate about helping students achieve greater independence and academic success through occupational therapy services.

Minimum Qualifications (Required for Texas OT Practice):
To be considered for this role, applicants must meet all local and state requirements, including:

Current and valid Occupational Therapist license issued by the Texas Board of Occupational Therapy Examiners

Masters degree (or higher) in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
-
NBCOT certification (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy)

Current CPR certification
-
Clear background check and fingerprint clearance
-
School-based experience preferred but not required
Typical Responsibilities:
-
Conduct assessments and evaluations of students fine motor, sensory, and functional skills

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals
-
Provide direct and consultative therapy services to students
-
Collaborate with educators, parents, and school staff to support student development
-
Document student progress and maintain accurate therapy records
-
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning
-
Promote functional independence and participation in school routines
