Compounding Pharmacy Technician

We are seeking a detail-oriented Compounding Pharmacy Technician to join our team. This role involves preparing customized medications, ensuring accuracy in calculations, and maintaining compliance with all regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Medication & Compounding Expertise: Knowledge of prescription information, drug identification, generic equivalents, and compounding techniques. (Preferred; Training Offered)
  • Technical & Math Skills: Proficiency in pharmacy information systems, computer operations, and precise mathematical calculations. Basic mathematics skills including adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing in all units of measure.
  • Communication & Decision-Making: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prioritize and work independently. Effective computer and keyboarding skills. Working knowledge of pharmacy information systems. Strong communication skills, both written and oral.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Current pharmacy technician registration/certification
  • Familiarity with pharmacy equipment and systems

Schedule: Day shift, Weekends Required.


Work Location: In person.


Rate of Pay: $18.50 - $22.25 (Tier based on experience)

Requirements

Ability to commute: Egg Harbor Township, NJ 08234: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work.

Education: High school or equivalent.

Must be willing to achieve Pharmacy Technician Certification via NHA,PTCB, or Curexa In-House program. As well as must achieve State Registration.
