Job DescriptionSalary: $8.00 - $10.00 per hour
CURRENTLY STAFFING FOR OPENING SHIFT and SUBSTITUTE TEAM SUPPORT MEMBER
We are seeking Child Care Workers that can work morning shift from 6:45 am to 10:30 am Monday - Friday. We are also looking for Child Care Workers that would be able to work on an as needed basis to cover for other staff that need time off.
Required Experience**
- Child Care Workers must be at least 21 years of age and possess at least a high school diploma or GED and one (1) year of experience with children and families or an Associates degree or higher in a behavioral or social science field.
- Must possess a valid drivers license and automobile insurance.
- Must have no criminal history record convictions of misdemeanor or felony offenses from any state.
- Must be able to relate to and work well with children and adults.
- Must possess organizational skills.
- Must be able to work under pressure and handle responsibilities independent of supervision.
- Must be able to remain calm and respond quickly in emergency and/or crisis situations.
- Must provide appropriate role model behavior for children
Responsibilities
- Monitors daily activities of children and ensures accurate and complete records.
- Supervises and assists children daily, ensuring safety and well being.
- Employs a nurturing attitude toward children, ensuring availability while on duty.
- Performs all duties in compliance with standard operating procedures, policies, and licensing requirements.
- Identifies individual behavior problems and needs of children and prepares daily report on each child to Director, Assistant Director or HSP.
- Maintains the facility in a neat and orderly manner.
- Identifies and reports needed repairs for facility to Director of Assistant Director.
- Administers acceptable disciplinary procedure as outlined in policy and procedures.
- Attends staff meetings and training as required.
- Performs duties within licensing requirements and Kids World Learning Center policy and procedure.
- Performs all other duties as assigned by the Director or Leadership Team
