Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This travel Occupational Therapy position offers a rewarding opportunity to support students from preschool through 12th grade during Extended School Year (ESY) programming. Located in the Jackson, New Jersey area, this role provides hands-on therapy services onsite at a regional day school dedicated to serving diverse student needs.
Responsibilities include delivering skilled occupational therapy interventions to students attending ESY, collaborating with school staff to implement individualized plans, and documenting progress. The schedule runs Monday through Thursday from July 1 to August 12, with hours from 9:30 AM to 12:45 PM. Note that the service location is onsite only, and the site will be closed on July 6.
Ideal candidates will possess:
- Valid OT licensure with experience in school-based settings
- Expertise in providing therapy services across a wide age range (PK-12)
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary school team
- Strong communication and organizational skills to manage caseload and documentation
- Willingness and flexibility to travel to the placement location
