Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our team and provide high-quality mental health services at a correctional facility. This role involves assessing, diagnosing, and treating inmates with various mental health conditions, facilitating individual and group therapy sessions, and developing comprehensive treatment plans.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated care for inmates.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records of patient interactions and progress.
  • Participate in case conferences and staff meetings to discuss patient care and treatment plans.
  • Adhere to all facility policies, procedures, and regulations.


Qualifications:

  • Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of CA.
  • Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
  • Minimum of ONE year of clinical experience, preferably in a correctional or similar setting.
  • Strong clinical skills in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of mental health conditions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate care to an underserved population.
