We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our privately own dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction. As a Dental Hygienist, you will be responsible for performing thorough dental cleanings, educating patients on oral health, and assisting the dental team in delivering exceptional care.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history review and oral examinations.
- Perform dental cleanings using appropriate techniques and tools to ensure optimal oral hygiene.
- Assist in four-handed dentistry procedures, working closely with the dentist during treatments.
- Utilize medical imaging systems for diagnostic purposes, ensuring accurate documentation of findings.
- Maintain patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and perform documentation reviews as necessary.
- Provide education to patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care strategies.
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure a smooth workflow and positive patient experiences.
- Support pediatric dentistry efforts by providing age-appropriate care and education to younger patients.
Experience
Candidates should possess:
- Proven experience in general dentistry practices, including familiarity with Carestack, Open Dental or similar dental software systems.
- Strong skills in patient assessment and documentation review processes.
- Knowledge of pediatric dentistry principles is a plus but not mandatory.
- A commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene and patient care while adhering to all relevant regulations.

Pay: $54.00 - $66.00 per hour
