Advanced Quality Engineer | Norton Shores, MI
Salary Range: $83,000 - $123,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity
We are partnering with organizations in Norton Shores that are seeking Advanced Quality Engineers. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement advanced quality control plans for new product introductions.
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective action implementation for complex quality issues.
- Utilize statistical process control (SPC) and other analytical tools to monitor and improve manufacturing processes.
- Collaborate with design and manufacturing engineering to ensure design for quality and manufacturability.
- Conduct supplier quality audits and drive continuous improvement initiatives within the supply chain.
- Champion continuous improvement projects using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Mentor junior quality engineers and provide technical guidance on complex quality challenges.
Recommended Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of experience in quality engineering within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100, IATF 16949).
- Proficiency in core quality tools (e.g., SPC, FMEA, MSA, Control Plans, Root Cause Analysis).
- Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or other relevant ASQ certification.
Bonus Qualifications
- ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) certification.
- Experience with statistical process control (SPC) software packages (e.g., Minitab, JMP).
- Familiarity with Six Sigma methodologies and tools (e.g., DMAIC, DOE).
- Proficiency in a programming language for data analysis (e.g., Python, R).
- Experience with AIAG core tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC).
