Job DescriptionSnelling is currently searching for a talented Certified Public Accountant (CPA) for a CPA Firm here in the Birmingham area. Looking for the right person for income tax preparation, bookkeeping and accounting. Permanent position for the person who wants to advance their career! Must have current CPA or interested in taking CPA exam.
Hours: Monday - Thursday 7:00am to 6:00pm Responsibilities for CPA:
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Conduct internal audits and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
- Assist in the preparation of federal, state, and local tax returns
- Provide financial advisory services to our clients, offering strategic recommendations to optimize their financial performance
- Continuously stay informed of changes in accounting regulations and best practices
Qualifications for CPA:
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license or scheduled to take the CPA exam.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar CPA role
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficient in using accounting software and data analysis tools
