HumanHire is partnered with an established manufacturing company in their search for an experienced Quality Control Inspector to join their growing team!
Located in the Farmingdale area, the ideal candidate will come with previous experience out of a manufacturing environment that deals with metal. This is a contract-to-hire role and is perfect for someone looking to put down long-term roots at a great local business!
What's in it for you?:
- Pay: $20-$25/hour (weekly pay)

- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7AM-3:30PM with LOTS of weekend OT opportunities! Must be able to work 2-3 Saturdays per month (required).
Quality Control Inspector Responsibilities:
- Perform first article, in-process, and final inspections on sheet metal, welded, and painted parts to ensure compliance with specifications, BOMs, and customer requirements
- Utilize calipers and other measuring tools to verify dimensional accuracy and identify defects through detailed visual inspections
- Audit production lines and document key parameters while maintaining accurate inspection reports and organized quality records in the database
- Conduct pallet and packaging inspections prior to shipment, ensuring products meet AQL standards and are properly prepared for release
Quality Control Inspector Qualifications:
- 2+ years of manufacturing QC experience
- An understanding of sheet metal, welding, machining processes, and ISO requirements
- Ability to read and interpret purchase orders, spec sheets, and bill of materials
- High school diploma or GED required
- Must be able to work 2-3 Saturdays per month (required) - Lots of overtime opportunities!
- Ability to lift 45+ pounds required
