We're Hiring: Project Accountant / Bookkeeper (Temporary – Maternity Leave Coverage)
Location: Bergen County, NJ
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM | Fully Onsite
Position Type: Temporary (Maternity Leave Coverage)
Pay Rate: $22 – $27/hour (based on experience)

We’re looking for a Project Accountant / Bookkeeper to join us on a temporary basis to cover a maternity leave. This is a great opportunity to put your skills to work in a professional, fast-paced, and supportive environment located right in Bergen County, NJ.
What You’ll Do:

Handle daily bookkeeping and project accounting tasks

Track budgets, expenses, and financial progress across multiple projects

Reconcile accounts and maintain accurate financial records

Generate reports and assist with audits when needed

Collaborate with project managers and leadership to ensure financial accuracy
What You Bring:

Proven experience in accounting or bookkeeping

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Experience with project-based accounting is a plus

Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Excel, etc.)
