Sign-On Bonus: $20,000 for candidates with one year of experience ($15,000 for those with less than one year), paid in full on the first paycheck!
Schedule: Full-time days
Compensation: Starting at $32.48/hour with daily pay options available!
Shift Differentials: Additional pay for night, weekend, and extra shifts
Location: Our facility at 1201 Grand, MO

Position Overview
Under the supervision of the Radiologist, Director, and Manager, the MRI Technologist will conduct diagnostic medical imaging using magnetic resonance technology, including Cardiac MRI, Intraoperative MRI, and other invasive procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Consistently produce high-quality images.
- Act as a resource for colleagues.
- Evaluate vein/site selection and perform venipuncture according to established protocols, documenting the site and contrast in the Radiology Information System (RIS).
- Recognize MR anatomical landmarks and identify abnormalities, notifying the radiologist as necessary.
- Maintain proficiency in using the Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
- Adhere to departmental policies, quality assurance programs, and safety standards.
- Conduct quality control procedures, assess results, and implement necessary corrections.
- Notify supervisors of any quality issues.
- Demonstrate professionalism and cooperation in all hospital interactions.
- Utilize the Hospital/Radiology system in accordance with established policies.
- Provide training and guidance to staff as needed.
- Perform duties related to 3D workstation as required by examinations.
- Handle biohazardous waste properly and follow safety and infection control protocols.
- Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients and staff.
- Deliver exceptional service to all customers, ensuring timely and respectful care.
- Incorporate quality assessment into daily tasks and responsibly manage facility resources.
- Demonstrate knowledge of growth and development across all patient age groups.
- Provide specialized care for patients at high risk for injury, considering cultural and spiritual beliefs in pain management.
- Communicate effectively with medical staff, coworkers, and patients.
- Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality at all times.
- Respond promptly to requests and complaints, ensuring follow-up as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma required; Associate's degree preferred.
- Graduate of an accredited MRI program and eligible for MR certification.
- 1-3 years of MRI experience in a Level 1 trauma facility preferred.
- Previous experience in an academic facility is a plus.
- Required certifications: BLS, ARRT; additional MR certification preferred.
- Candidates without ARRT must obtain MR certification within twelve months of hire.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and moving patients and equipment.
Working Conditions
Exposure to bloodborne pathogens and tuberculosis, necessitating the use of protective equipment.
