Our client, a premier residential community in Queen, is seeking a polished and hospitality-focused Bilingual Mandarin Resident Services Associate to provide exceptional service to residents, guests, and prospective tenants. This role is ideal for someone with a strong customer service background who enjoys creating positive experiences and thrives in a luxury residential environment.

Salary/Hourly Rate

$25/hr - $27/hr

Position Overview

The Bilingual Mandarin Resident Services Associate will serve as the face of the property, providing a high level of customer service while supporting front desk operations, resident relations, visitor management, and building services. Candidates must be fluent in Mandarin and English and possess a hospitality-driven mindset with a strong focus on resident satisfaction. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity with strong long-term potential. Candidates must be comfortable working onsite in Queens and committed to delivering exceptional resident experiences in a customer-focused environment. Upon permanent conversion, employees will join a unionized workforce and must be comfortable becoming a union member. The schedule is from Tuesday to Saturday, 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM and the ideal candidate must be flexible for one overnight shift per week.

Responsibilities Of The Bilingual Mandarin Resident Services Associate

  • Resident & Guest Services:
    • Welcome residents, guests, and visitors with professionalism and warmth.
    • Manage visitor check-in procedures and coordinate deliveries.
    • Maintain a polished, organized, and welcoming lobby environment.
    • Support resident events and leasing activities as needed.
    • Conduct routine lobby and common area checks to ensure presentation standards are maintained.
  • Security & Building Operations:
    • Monitor building activity and access procedures.
    • Track vendor and contractor visits and maintain accurate logs.
    • Respond appropriately to resident concerns and building-related issues.
  • Package & Resident Services:
    • Receive, log, and organize packages and deliveries.
    • Manage service requests, amenity reservations, and resident preferences.
    • Maintain accurate records and assist with package room operations.
  • Move-In / Move-Out Coordination:
    • Coordinate logistics related to resident move-ins and move-outs.
    • Communicate with building management regarding scheduled activities.
    • Ensure smooth transitions and positive resident experiences.
  • Leasing & Community Support:
    • Welcome prospective residents and notify leasing teams of arrivals.
    • Assist with property tours and leasing support activities.
    • Share community information and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Emergency Response & Team Support:
    • Follow emergency procedures and respond calmly under pressure.
    • Escalate issues appropriately and follow through to resolution.
    • Participate in team meetings and support special projects as assigned.

Required Experience/Skills For The Bilingual Mandarin Resident Services Associate

  • Fluent in Mandarin and English (required).
  • Strong experience in hospitality, concierge, residential services, customer service, or front desk.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Professional and polished presentation.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and customer-focused mindset.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable working second-shift hours and one overnight shift per week.

Preferred Experience/Skills For The Bilingual Mandarin Resident Services Associate

  • Experience in luxury residential, hospitality, hotel, concierge, or guest services environments.
  • Experience working with diverse communities and high-volume resident interactions.
  • Familiarity with property management or resident services systems.

Education Requirements

  • High school diploma is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
