Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A travel Special Education Teacher opportunity is available in Vernon Rockville, CT, serving preschool-aged students in a dynamic school environment. Qualifications:
- Connecticut Preschool Special Education certification required
- Experience working with preschool-aged children in special education settings preferred
Job Details:
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, approximately 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM
- Caseload includes a diverse group of preschool students, blending general and special education needs
- Opportunity to travel to different school locations within the Vernon Rockville area
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to preschool special education students
- Collaborate with general education teachers to support inclusive classroom environments
- Assess student progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly
- Communicate regularly with parents, caregivers, and school staff regarding student development and needs
