An opportunity is available for a skilled Registered Nurse with Operating Room experience to support surgical services in a well-equipped, patient-focused unit. This contract role is primarily day shift, operating in a hospital with four OR suites and one Endoscopy room, utilizing advanced surgical equipment such as Stryker systems and performing a variety of procedures including orthopedic, spine, and minimally invasive surgeries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with surgical teams to provide exceptional perioperative care.
  • Assist with orthopedic, spine, DaVinci robotic, Mako robotic, Globus, and laparoscopic procedures.
  • Maintain compliance with sterile techniques and safety protocols.
  • Use Meditech EMR to accurately document patient information and care.
  • Support unit workflow and team collaboration to enhance patient outcomes.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active RN license with current credentials appropriate for operating room nursing.
  • Valid DORA (Division of Registrations) license required prior to submission.
  • BLS certification mandatory.
  • Experience in orthopedic and minimally invasive surgeries highly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Strong communication skills and commitment to high standards of patient care.

Schedule:

  • Day shift hours, 7 AM to 5 PM.
