Key Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 or small-group instructional support as directed by teachers and staff
• Assist students with daily routines, transitions, and active participation in class
• Implement behavior support plans and follow Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) when applicable
• Support mobility, supervision, and personal care needs to ensure student safety and comfort
• Foster a respectful, inclusive, and positive learning environment for all students

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum 18 years of age
• Current TB test (or willingness to obtain, per school requirements)
• Ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting when necessary
• Current clearances required to work in schools or willingness to obtain prior to start

Preferred Experience:

• Background in school settings, special education, behavioral health, or child care
• Experience supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• Training or certification in CPI, PMT, or RBT is an advantage but not required
• Reliable, patient, and collaborative team member mindset
