JOB SUMMARY:
The BCBA delivers a variety of applied behavior analysis (ABA) assessments and clinical services for children with autism spectrum disorder and other behavioral or developmental disabilities. They provide supervision, assessments, and caregiver training in both clinical and community settings. Additionally, the BCBA leads or participates in meetings and conducts ongoing staff training related to the ABA program. They provide clinical direction to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) on proactive strategies, skill acquisition programming, and behavioral support while developing and implementing comprehensive treatment plans. The BCBA also collaborates with the Pediatric Center’s medical and therapy team to enhance clinical outcomes for the families served. The BCBA is responsible for accurate and timely documentation, reporting, and maintenance of program records. This position is primarily on-site; however, occasional remote work may be permitted at the department's discretion.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required:
- Certification by the Behavior Analyst certification Board and state licensure (as applicable)
- Master’s degree in special education, psychology, or related field, with specialized knowledge of behavioral health and treatment philosophies and professional practices
- Must maintain CPR certification
Preferred:
- At least 3 years of recent experience supporting individuals with autism spectrum disorders and their families.
Requirements:
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience administering behavior analytic assessment tools and procedures, and thorough knowledge of child development.
- Experience developing positive behavior support plans and programming.
- Knowledge of current methods and techniques of applied behavior analysis and discrete trial training.
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing with patient, parents and professionals.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with data collection software and reporting tools
- Respect for cultural diversity and capability of adapting ABA procedures to that diversity.
- Provide ABA training for parent and other caregivers.
- Maintain weekly minimum 25 hours billable productivity
- Attend in-person trainings, meetings, clinical support and supervision at the Manager’s discretion

- Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments utilizing appropriate clinical tools and data-driven methods
- Design behavioral interventions based on client’s needs and current research
- Provide supervision and training to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and other paraprofessionals on implementing ABA strategies.
- Provide guidance and training to caregivers.
- Graph and visually analyze data
- Work in a team to facilitate optimal care and exceptional outcomes for patients
- Stay updated on current policies, data privacy laws, and ABA industry standards to ensure compliance.
