Technica is seeking a Supervisor for the Supply Warehouse supporting missions at Fort Wainwright.
Position Responsibilities:
- This position plans, manages, and monitors Supply warehouse operations. Specific duties are entailed, but are not limited to the following:
- Reports directly to the Technica Site Supervisor.
- Coordinate with the Site Supervisor and the Prime PM (our only customer) to prioritize operations.
- Responsible for ensuring compliance with contract requirements.
- Responsible for ensuring a safe working environment by enforcing all safety procedures and requirements as well as guidelines set forth in the Technica Handbook.
- Submit monthly and quarterly reports.
- Account for all employees and submit the PERSTAT daily.
- Ensure successful completion of all mission operations in accordance with established policies and management goals regarding funding, storage, workload, manpower capability, component, issue, equipment items, and inventory control procedures.
- Performs employee disciplinary counseling following the guidelines set forth in the Technica employee handbook, along with HR.
- Performs employee performance reviews, and other personnel reporting.
- Reviews and approves employee timesheets.
- Review and approve employee leave requests (LWOP, sick and vacation).
- Screen applicants and conduct interviews for open positions.
- Ensures all employees observe policy, procedures and regulatory guidance for physical security, and monitors for compliance.
- May be hands-on and hold collateral duties in performance of the Performance Work Standard (PWS).
Basic Qualifications:
- US Citizen
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 18 years of age
- Valid state driver's license
- Must have at least five years of supervisory experience, a comprehensive knowledge of governing regulations, policies, procedures and instructions in supply management.
- Familiarity with:
o AR 710-2, Supply Policy Below National Level
o AR 735-5 Property Accountability Policies
o AR 750-1, Army Material Maintenance Policy
- All processes GCSS-Army End User Manual
Desired Qualifications:
- Must possess in-depth knowledge of applicable program relationships, concepts and methodologies pertaining to supply warehouse operations.
- Knowledge of US Army regulations and procedures.
- Ability to gain cooperation and coordinate the work of others.
- Skill in written and oral presentations.
- Must have excellent skills in Microsoft Office applications.
- Capability to adjust work operations to meet emergencies or changing program or production requirements within available resources and with minimum sacrifice to quantity and quality of work.
- Ability to establish program objectives or performance goals and assess progress.
- Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screening and background checks related to the position.
